I have written 10,000 of 20,000 words. I am now 50% done! no frills wordmeter

Only... I might have to expand to word count to fit the new end. seriously. ARGH

I don't know how you do it! I'm barely a thousand words in, and you're already halfway through your SECOND!

It's... well quite frankly it's astounding. I suppose however, that my biggest downfall is that I don't actually have a plot. I know bits and bobs and have a very mjor part mapped out, but it's a character thing and there is currently no central conflict of any kind.
