Rules: It's been going around, you know the drill... answer questions, replace ones you don't like, tag people if you want to.
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up.
The absolute anarchistic chaos that is my desk. The blue glas fish mobile hanging on my curtain bar. My bed, unmade, my bad. The cobwebs in the corner of my room (I keep my own live insecticide always close by). My blue Hand of Cat, the best funniest comfortablest couch chair, eva.
2. How do you style your hair?
I don't. I comb it in the morning. I hate any kind of product and will only use it if coerced. I had it coloured and highlighted in December however. Dark brown and Caramel
3. What are you wearing now?
sweat pants, green shirt, brown cardigan, earings, fingerrings, pendant, no watch.
4. What's your occupation?
student of History, German and English. Oh wait, I've been exmatriculated last week so I'm kept daughter right now until I'm 25 and officially unemployed. Oh yeah, and I have my graduation exams right now. Fun times.
5. What do you hear right now?
the ventilation of my laptop, the ringing in my ears (I know I know, I should get it checked out, but seriously, I know the diagnosis and I'll be able to ignore it again when I'm not that stressed, same old, same old.) I'd like to listen to music, but I can't decide at the moment.
6. Who was the last person you hugged?
no idea, probably my mum. She's not well at the moment.
7. What is/was for dinner?
Well, erm crossaint with nugat creme and bread with spread cheese, ground cheese and Petersilie (no idea what that's in English right now)
8. What did you do today?
woke up with the lovely ring of Old English verb classes in my brain, got up, boot computer, read, dress, baker run, read some more, study for exams, make lunch, have shouting match with dad, answering meme.... I could go on.
9. Dog person or cat person?
Is that a trick question? Cause I know I'm Cat, but I only have dogs. Incidentally, my dogs behave a lot more like cats than dogs. And other people's cats like me a lot more than other people's dogs, but I still never had a cat. So you could say I'm a bi-furry person. Does that help?
10. What would your name have been if you had been a girl/boy?
If I had been a boy, I'd be Martin. Could have done worse I think. If I had a little brother he would be Benjamin, I like that one too.
11. What color/pattern are the linens on your bed?
dark blue and light-blue patches with yellow square lines
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Oh, that's a difficult question. I think I would like to visit a tropical island, because I've never been in that climate before. Oh and I'd like to see the historical sights of the Ancient American high cultures. Machu Pichu here I come.
13. Favorite band/musician?
John Williams (What? I love film scores. I have dozens)
14. Favorite book?
The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher are pretty high on the list, but I have to say, my all time favourite is 'The mists of Avalon' by Marion Z. Bradley.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Studying Old English phonology. And morphology. And syntax. Setting my alarm for the exam on Monday.
16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I do play the piano. Mine is about 150 years old, with candle holders and a seal from the royal court pianomaker of Württemberg. I do wish I had more time to practice though.
17. How are you?
tired, stressed, IMSing, having a killer headache from hell, and just about not a happy cat camper right now. I'll be better.
18. What are you doing tomorrow?
Studying in the morning, studying on the train (with the drivers on strike that might take a while) giving books back to uni lib, going to see Birdie for a much needed Girls Day Off. That'll make me better.
19. What are you looking forward to the most?
Meeting Jensen and Jared. Not only because it's Jensen and Jared, but because it'll mean I'll have watched season six finale with a lot of other crazy fans on convention weekend. It'll mean I'll be done with my exams, written and oral. It'll mean I'll be done with my studies (almost). It'll mean I'll know whether I'm going to America in August or will have to start looking for a job. But either way, I will know. I'll be twenty-five and I'll be FREE. Yes, good times.
