I've signed up for reversebang again this year, but for the first time - kind of - I didn't do it with a specific project in mind. I have a few ideas, but they're either very vague or very cliched. So... I'd like you enlist your help in giving my prompts. What kind of theme or setting would you like to see me do in the realm of J2 or SPN Gen/Wincest? Can be photomanip or vid, I have two days left of this three day holiday weekend and I'd like to do something creative with it.

So, I feel this joyous (and largely completely unaccidentally overlooked) occasion is as good a time as any to give you a run down of things going on in my life, fannish or otherwise.

So, I got a JOB. For those who haven't heard the news yet, that was a long time in coming and while it is not exactly my dream job in all regards, it's the first one I hold that pays all my bills, all on( Ramble on... )

Just a heads up to all my flisties. I found five stories of mine pilfered to this site, so this is no joke! Even if you're not a prolific writer, go and check, they scraped all those stories with bots (conceivably the reason AO3 was down a couple of weeks ago) and without the consent of the OTW.

I sent them an email, demanding they remove my fic, although that was before I read the very helpful instructions provided in the link above. Maybe I should send them another. I'm fucking furious. Assholes making money of fanfic writers' free but very hard labour. Not to mention how it fucks with the whole "fair use" idea. Fuck you, assholes. Fuck you very hard in the ass with a barbed wire.

Guys, I need your help! Whoever is of the artsy persuasion or might be able to help me out... I'm looking for high-res SPN stills and shots, both in general and specifically right now of Jensen/Dean preferably later season with as much face/in portrait as possible. I do really well sussing out video material I need, but I really have no clue about still images. I have a few popular images in mind, but I'm not sure where to find high quality sources, and I'm open to all suggestions. Broke 25k today for realz AND I'M STILL NOT FRICKING DONE. How is this my life. Anyway, two and a half scenes left, so I am determined to get this sucker done tomorrow. Right now my brain is fried, but I still can't stop writing shit, so you have to suffer my whiny ass. Ehehehe. Ok, bed, then breakfast, than fic-finishing tomorrow.

... so many epic feels. Seriously, those Marvel boys are killing me right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm writing, and I love that I'm writing and the feeling that I got the characters down and a meaningful story to tell, but the scenes I've been at yesterday and today are giving me an empathetic hernia just thinking about them (and there goes the coherency in all that). There... I went and made myself cry over my own fucking writing and it's NOT EVEN THE GRAND DRAMATIC FINALE that I've been working towards ever since this story was conceived. Can somebody please yell in my ear and snap me out of it, so I can stop from sliding into a mushy fangirl puddle of whiny goo and finish this sucker?

... I know this is kinda stupid, but I just broke 20k on my Captain America - The Winter Soldier fic! This is the first time I've managed that on a story in about 2 1/2 years, and I just... I don't know, I just had to share the abiding sense of accomplishment that made me feel just now. That is all.
