mangacat201I'm compounding since I haven't been able to post over the weekend due to work, so let's see.
Swans a-Swimming: Seven foods I dislike
Ok, I'm shortening this one considerably. I dislike everything in the cabbage group: cabbage, kale, cauliflower, kohlrabies (especially loathsome because it smells very good to me, but I don't like the taste, believe me, I've tried), red cabbage. Add spinach and liver and you got seven foods you can chase me with.
Geese a-Laying: Six quirks
1) I go to sleep by wrapping myself up like a mummy, turning right for three minutes, turning left for three minutes and drifting off. I can't sleep if I haven't turned around at least once.
2) Sometimes I walk home like I'm on a pretend cat walk when no one is around to see and I feel fabulous.
3) When I write with music, I might have a single piece on repeat for a couple of hours, even if it's just 1 1/2 minutes, just to capture the mood.
4) I like to have the air cool in my room and bundle up with blankets and extra plush plushie slippers in winter for warmth.
5) I love the smell of old books (in the morning).
6) I tend to quote parts of movies no one but me knows and then have a disproportional squeefest if someone does.
Golden Rings: Five shiny things I like
1) My great-grandma's pendant, it's a half-inch aquamarine with a gold setting and I've worn it almost every day in the past... oh I think it must be going on fifteen years.
2) My (quite vast as a recent tally has brought to light) collection of original movie soundtracks. I know most of them are mp3-albums, but CDs are shiny, right?
3) My antique piano with candle holders and ivory keys that bear the glass rings from its supposed time as a bar box, which can't be tuned anymore, because it's approximately 150 years old (and still playable, though a bit out of tune).
4) My shiny new computer that I haven't gotten around to actually using much in the past year I've had it (pets trusty old laptop who doesn't die and whom I can't actually separate from)
5) My current workplace. What, it's a literal palace, if that's nothing shiny, WHAT IS?
