Summary: Jensen and Jared are having the time of their lives in their a most successful criminal enterprise, but when lines are drawn, loyalties are tested and secrets revealed, cracks rapidly appear in the facade of their relationship that become a danger to their life in a more literal way than they anticipated.

A/N: Wow, I've been meaning to make an SPN-vid for that song for... years, really, every since I first heard it and thought YES WINCHESTERS. It took me some time to figure out more than a couple of clips and frames I wanted to use so that it would actually be a full vid and how to shorten the song - which really, you need to find and listen to it in full length, it's so awesome, but this year, things finally clicked and came together. And I'm doubly chuffed that I could use Hal Oszan's scenes in the vid, since he is the fantastic singer behind the "Poets & the Pornstars" - seriously, find that album SPN fans and listen the heck out of it. Anyway, I want to thank riyku for picking me out of the big crowd, because she's a seriously talented fandom member who managed to pick up exactly what kind of mood and style I had in mind for the story and deliver a great piece for your enjoyment, and was very patient with my real life induced absences from the process. And last but not least, I want to thank the busy mod-bees behind spn_reversebang who once again managed to make the challenge this year an engaging, well organized and altogether most enjoyable experience.

I'm so SO excited about the spn_reversebang art reveal, looooooook at all the pretties. Are you looking? Can you pick out mine? (LOL, na, I'd much rather you didn't know me, eheheh.) Anyway, this is such an eclectic and talented crowd that contributed this year. I hope this round will be full of literary pleasures to devour soon!

Summary: Samuel was an angel who should never have been.  He was supposed to become the Morningstar and fight at the end of days against his brother, Michael to determine the fate of all humanity.  What happens though when a child changes that fate?  When Sam makes a choice to save his brother from the life he should have lived, everything is different.  Different, but how can Samuel stay away from the man that his brother has become?  How can he stand aside when he knows he can make a difference in Dean’s life, the way his brother had for him in a life not lived?  And what happens when Destiny tries to take another swing at the Winchester boys?

A/N: This has been a tumultuous challenge for me this year, because I didn't really have time to do it and very nearly managed to miss the deadline with this project (which I'd started on the same day) by a couple of hours, but despite everything I got matched up with a terrific author and friend, hunters_retreat, which made me very happy, and I love what she's done with the place. I really love this challenge because it touched me off as an artist and I hope I'll be able to participate for many years to come!
