Hi peeps,
the ones that hopefully made it home save and the ones that unfortunately had to stay home for this fantastic weekend. I just want to tell you that I had the epic time of my life, which you'll be hearing all about in my upcoming con-report (yes, I took notes) Just let me say this before I go to bed... Richard Speight Jr. is fricking AWESOME.
And here is what he got me...

Ok, ye goode people of the land of flisty. I finally got out of my funk and decided to do a year review after all. So, For Your Information:

- In 2010 I upgraded to a paid account (which I've renewed) got my own custom made journal style and a few other nifty features out of it.

- I posted an entirety of 64600 words of fic (a little less than last year, but considering that I've been suffering exam-induced writer's block for half a year now, still pretty damn good.)

- I made my first tentative forays into vidding and posted several versions of altogether four fanvids

- I took part for the first time in several big bang challenges: first time writer for

spn_j2_bigbang and first time vidding ARTIST with TWO entries for

spn_reversebang

- I treated myself with two bingo cards:

hc_bingo STRAIGHT LINE, and

au_bingo PENDING

- I have made one fanmix for a great fic of my other half or the brain

insane_songbird who doesn't get mentioned nearly often enough in this journal

- I have had one of my stories turned into a podfic by

ladyrhyanne and the second installment of the verse is waiting to be polished by her.

- I recieved a total of 80 comments on 72 posts. That's gotta improve my dears. But I'm working on that.

- I've entered the fic realm of no less than Five new fandoms: Merlin (BBC), Sons of Anarchy, Glee, White Collar and Leverage

- I donated per km for Misha's Run and his great Random Acts Of Charity because that guy is just unbelievable.

- I have gained a lot of new and great, great friends all over the world last year, even in places I didn't know I'd find them and I had the chance to meet some of them personally at my very first convention ASYLUM €UROPE 'No Rest For The Wicked'

All in all, I guess it wasn't really too bad a year. Cheers y'all.

Jensen just confirmed that he's coming to A6 and A7(Asylum Europe 2) and I have tickets!
Me and Bird have packages 9 and 12! OMGOMGOMGOMG!

I am fucking dying right now.
*faints*

Since Birdie and I did everything together anyway, we're doing the report as a joint-venture, too.

By now, we have several panels with quotes and photos, and some more to come. For my flisties, I crosspost here ... it's the masterpost of Birdie's stuff and we'll expand it as time permits, so you'd do well to come back and check up on it from time to time. We had such a great time and hope to repeat it next year. More to come on that, too.

MASTERPOST CON-REPORT ASYLUM €UROPE - NO REST FOR THE WICKED

Hello flisties, back here in the day... and well, NO REST FOR THE WICKED.... indeed and just how wicked we were.

No really, the con was phantastic, and despite some little, kinda unavoidable glitches in orga it went so smoothly and splendid like sailing a ship in perfect winds. This experience was just so awesome!! I'm probably going to contribute to the big con-report that

insane_songbird is doing (yes, she took NOTES like a good little fangirl/journalist should!)

But I'll give you some highlights from my point of view....

- getting to ask a question in almost every panel and getting great great answers. Example: Q to Misha and Mark - If you could pick a Monster of the Week for season six, which one would you like to see?
Misha: COOKIE MONSTER *lol* Mark : yeah, Cookie Monster has merit... (doing spot on impression) But only if I get to do it!!!

- alternative movement with Jim and Traci, Jim is soooo good at being worshipped.

- Jim with baby in arms... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww.

- all the guests wandering around the hotel and town completely unguarded and unimpaired by fans.

- Jason Manns' concert and his nice goo-goo eyes when I complimented him at the autograph session.

- Jim speaking German (most hilarious thing in the world... and he's GOOD)

- getting a special little dedication from Mark on the autographs. Lucifer's forktail and a Chesire Cat.

- Doug stepping on stage to tell us that THERE'S GOING TO BE ASYLUM EUROPE HIGHWAY TO HELL 2011 for us. Best fucking moment of the whole con. Seriously.

ok, have to read a little now and wind down. posting photos and more report in due time. Hope you had a great weekend flisties and namastee... (or something)
