Preliminary Con Report - Asylum Europe

Hello flisties, back here in the day... and well, NO REST FOR THE WICKED.... indeed and just how wicked we were.

No really, the con was phantastic, and despite some little, kinda unavoidable glitches in orga it went so smoothly and splendid like sailing a ship in perfect winds. This experience was just so awesome!! I'm probably going to contribute to the big con-report that insane_songbird  is doing (yes, she took NOTES like a good little fangirl/journalist should!)

But I'll give you some highlights from my point of view....

- getting to ask a question in almost every panel and getting great great answers. Example: Q to Misha and Mark - If you could pick a Monster of the Week for season six, which one would you like to see?
Misha: COOKIE MONSTER *lol* Mark : yeah, Cookie Monster has merit... (doing spot on impression) But only if I get to do it!!!

- alternative movement with Jim and Traci, Jim is soooo good at being worshipped.

- Jim with baby in arms... AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww.

- all the guests wandering around the hotel and town completely unguarded and unimpaired by fans.

- Jason Manns' concert and his nice goo-goo eyes when I complimented him at the autograph session.

- Jim speaking German (most hilarious thing in the world... and he's GOOD)

- getting a special little dedication from Mark on the autographs. Lucifer's forktail and a Chesire Cat.

- Doug stepping on stage to tell us that THERE'S GOING TO BE ASYLUM EUROPE HIGHWAY TO HELL 2011 for us. Best fucking moment of the whole con. Seriously.

YES, we had a fricking BLAST and it was soooo soooo great. I can't really describe it... there was also Misha pranking Sam in her single panel (it was the last of the WE) when he asked a question invisible from the outside with a German accent. Just sooo hilarious. And we're constantly remembering and forgetting these things again.

Aaaaa! I want to make it to 2011 Asylum Europe so bad.

Anyway, sounds like you had an amazing time!! I think it's super adorable that the guests just wondered around with no guards ;)

OH YEAH YOU SHOULD. seriously, we'll probably organize a whole little hotel for us con-girls from Team Purple Nurple (with t-shirts and all) and it was sooo soooo great.
We're on the highway to hell, baby.
And yeah, Chad partyed in the bar, Mark was looking up photos in the lounge the whole evening on Sat surrounded by fangirls (but not actually at his table of course), Jim went around smiling, Misha and Jason went jogging at the river apparently and the whole crowd was out in a café on Friday and they had such a good time. Jim even tweeted already about it.
