12 Days of Christmas

Piper's Piping: Eleven of my favourite things.
1. Music - I love making it, I love listening to it, I love find obscure and little known gems of it in all nooks and crannies of the internet. Classical, epic metal, rock, alternative, a capella, and best of all Original Film Soundtracks and Scores. MWAH.
2. Writing - nothing is more rewarding than having a story bloom in your head and giving in to the urge to bring it out on paper (or keyboard) and watching it grow, struggling with it, whittling away at all the different bits until it emerges.
3. Reading - nothing can steal my time like sitting down with a good fic or a great book and letting the passages sing.
4. The friends I made through reading and writing and music - I've always been a fan, but discovering fandom opened up a whole world to me full of excitement and engagement and acceptance.
5. Being Weird - normal is completely overrated and utterly boring. I'd rather be unexpectedly and charmingly strange.
6. My doggies - as much cat as you can have so long as you still have a dog, our babies are stubborn, independent, resourceful, loyal, loving and so CUDDLY.
7. The Colour Blue - what? I just like it.
8. Good Shows - god, I can't even begin to describe how excited and stoked it makes me to watch a good show. On the TV, on the big screen, on the stage. There's just something magical about STORY.
9. Good Food - I've made it a point to expand my food-y-verse and go hunt for new recipes from different styles de cuisine. Normally, I just take an ingredient, go to the internet with it and type it in until I get a recipe for which I have the other ingredients at hand. Making meals from scratch is so much fun.
10. Bundling up warm when the air is crisp and wintry outside and the chill seeps into your nose. (But feet need to be warm. Very warm. Otherwise I'm miserable)
11. The night sky on a clear day (eehehe). The moon hanging low, with a white, eerie corona and the constellations twinkling bright, so it's easy to draw the constellation lines in your mind. I sometimes just stop at the door coming home late and turn looking up for a few minutes. The Universe gives us so much beauty.
(My... that was so much easier than the first one. I have loads of things that I could still write down and my numbers ran out. *huff*)
