Well I could think of a few more very interesting things your story approaches, but that would make me sound way to geeky for my own good. Haha I know what you mean. Have to admit I kind of got lost along the way, when the medical stuff got really hairy! So definitely agree with the awesome "accurate literary metaphor" you threw at me:D
