Yay for you!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to do the bigbang but alas I am not taking on any challenges because of Vegas in March, I don't want to feel pressured into something I can't finish this year.
I'm signed up for fic right now and I'll be trying to do my best to finish. Last year I didn't manage and then decided to sign up as an artist for the first time last minute (the claims were already running two days, but one story was left over that I thought I could do, so I jumped in) but I'm not sure whether I'd do that again if I fall short on the fic because there'll be lots of stuff to do come June.
Yeah, sorry about that, but I've been working a shitload of hours for the past few months in my new internship and there was absolutely no juice left for writing. I have set Big Bang as a goal for myself to at least get the 20k-mark this year. lol.
I'm working as an assistant for the office of the Concert Choir of Darmstadt, cultural management, concert organisation, marketing, PR, ticketing, sheet music collection/archive, and the daily bits and bobs that float around an office of a semi-professional choir. I'm hoping to get a real job in this line of work after the internship is over in August after the big Festival. On the side I bolster my next-to-nothing-intern-income with translation and thesis-editing work. Oh and I also sung with the choir for all of the season concerts since Oct (when I started) last year, which means this is my second free weekend since.. early November.
Oh, that sounds really interesting. Busy, but interesting. I thought you were destined to be a teacher. Fingers crossed that you get what you're looking for, and yay for a weekend free.
