Help of mighty flisties!
Nov. 9th, 2010 02:04 pmTo my flist of native speakers (and others if they're up to it)
I have a vocabulary and idiom seminar at uni this semester and our teacher asked us this week to find words in English that have roots in German, like for example angst, kindergarden, doppelganger, stuff like that. So, if you know any words you know or at least suspect to be German in origin, drop me a line here? I'm looking forward to what you can come up with!
