So guys, this is it. My first vid to ever be published... seriously, wth. Anyway it's nowhere near as good as it could be since Movie Maker is a right bitch AND I've spend considerably more time on it than I should have, but well... IT'S MY FIRST.

A trailer for my birthday fic actually, that's been finished and is currently betaed, so stay tuned.

Thanks so much... I wish it didn't have those glitches though... I spend about six excess hours working around Movie Maker crashing my project. I just don't know a better program (that doesn't cost my arm)

yeah, the programs costs your arm and my eye xDDDD, my father gave me a vid program he bought (magix) and when I learn how to work with it... it will be amazing. Before I used ulead photostudio and pinnacle studio (I don´t like this one...)

Oh yeah, definitely. Actually I noticed that I HAVE another vid-program on my laptop (which sat there and didn't say anything)... CyberDirector hasn't got the best of ratings, but not the worst either, so I'll try my hand... at first glance at least it looks like it works the way I want more than any of the freeware I tried to download instead of Movie Maker, so *fingers crossed*

Thanks so much... *drop* I was thinking about maybe going into vidding (since I'm a little bit artist, but Birdie is really all the big guns) and it's been a pain in the ass, but y'all make me wanna do more. ok, I gotta sleep now, have to catch up on A LOAD of work tomorrow (that I ditched today in favour of vid-making *sigh*)

And I have deep respect for you for making this with movie maker. I tried my hands on it and gave up with waving flags.

And yeah, I read it already since it's my birthday present after all (and I'm ALWAYS the first to read anything Birdie comes up with *g*)

Movie Maker would be quite ok as far as beginners and functions go, if it didn't CRaSH all the damn time and then REFUSE TO SAVE. *sigh*
But I'll be trying with a different programm, so let's see how that goes.

Yeah, I know. I couldn't add more than three scenes before it would crash again, so I kinda stopped trying. I use Adobe Premiere Elements which works really great for vids but you usually have to buy it. (It came as a special feature for my laptop when I bought him ;)
Everybody else seems to be using Sony Vegas (at least the American half of the vidders) and I'm still contemplating if it's good enough so it would pay if I bought it.

I found various ways around the crashing (and I saved like every single workstep) but it means that you can't do a lot of editing and you can't check the works (which is why I'm so amazed that the thing is actually in TIME with the music) and you get glitches in clips. gAh.

Well, haven't read anything about Vegas, so I don'T know... I just don'T know yet how serious I'll be with the vid-business so I don'T want to spend 100 bucks for some program I won't use anymore in half a year. *shrugs* I'll try what I have first.

*blushes* gosh, don't let it get to my head... and it wasn't exactly the very first, I did some editing for Uni (mainly making vids of film and stuff so short that it fit into hte presentation) but this is my first with a PURPOSE. *g* Ehehee, and yeah, once I get the hang of my new program, I'm going to make MOAR.

And yeah, it's the first 'vid' vid I made... i've done some video editing before but that was essentially putting scenes together to shorten a film for uni, so... this is my first time as a vid artist and I'm over the moon that you all like it so much.
