Ok, peeps, I know that probably nobody reads this that won't already watch, but I still feel my fannish duty, so I'm promoting episode 17 because cha  wants to make it the most watched spn-ep EVER. so my American TV-hogging flisties, buckle up! lol

Well, not so much for CW shows past season 1. CW makes nada aka in the red... the reason SPN, SV, OTH, etc are on the air is because the CW's parent companies (CBS, WB) make a ton off of them via DVD's, syndication, out of country, downloads, etc.

Which is why (especially as SV is going off the air) SPN is 99.9% guaranteed at least one more season. It's more than likely up to J2 on signing contracts to keep going with the show now.
